Angela;

I see on your screen print that you are displaying dependents.  We still have not been able to get them to display and I do not know why.  Did you do anything special to the configuration to make that happen?  We are up to date on all notes.

Thanks,

Andrew.

We have applied the latest notes and still not seeing the data populated for the month the employee was not here.  Does anyone know if this will be coming?  Per our legal team, this is required.

Hi Andrew,

For dependents we didn't do anything special, they are on IT0021 and also tied to the benefit plan under IT167 from the employee.  So far I only have UBAIC, UBABC configured leaving the others as default.  I need to play with UBAEO, UBAES and UBAAS because per our lawyers, our default codes are not correct per the standard delivered.

I am just playing change a feature and run to see what it does and to see if we get close or not.

Thanks

Angela

Hi Experts,

We are getting "No data found for the parameters entered on selection screen" after executing the transaction with the pernr.

we ran the first two transactions 1) HRBENUS_ACA_PERSON

                                                2) HRBENUS_ACA_ALE

successfully and corresponding ACA tables 1) HRBENUS_D_PERSON

                                                                 2) HRBENUS_D_ADDATA updated with complete details of each person.

we are getting this issue after implementing the latest release ACA of notes 2230800 and 2211234.

Please let me know if any one had similar issue resolved with ACA print program.

Hello All,

We've applied Support Pack 6 and all subsequent notes.  Lines 14-16 are looking great with one exception.  We only offer COBRA coverage for dental and vision.  Medical is administered by a 3rd party.  As a result, our COBRA plans in infotype 212 are only dental and vision plans.  We've populated all our active medical plans in V_T77BENUS_ASPCC and identified them as Minimum Essential Coverage, Minimum Value Offered etc.  We did not enter dental and vision plans in this table.

Our issue is once an active employee terminates and switches to COBRA coverage (dental and/or vision) ACA reporting is considering them still enrolled in minimum essential coverage.  Dental and vision were never set up for that.  Same scenario is occurring with dependents electing COBRA dental and vision independent of their parents as in when they turn 26.  I don't think the code is verifying the plan is medical in infotype 212.  If it did, it would see there are not medical plans and therefore the person is not enrolled.

Any assistance would be great.

Thank you.

Vanessa

We recently updated to HRSP 92 and applied Notes 2211233 and 2211234 and getting a dump when executing HRBENUS_ACA_PERSON. (Attached screenshot). Did anyone experience this issue? Please note that I was able to run the complete form before we applied this note.

Any quick response will be extremely helpful.

Puerto Rico Christmas Bonus

I'm having problems getting the Puerto Rico Christmas Bonus to tax correctly.  For example if we are paying under $600 for the Christmas bonus there should not be any PR taxes withheld.  I have tried running off cycle with off cycle reason 0011 for Christmas Bonus and I still am having taxes withheld.    Does anyone have the Puerto Rico Christmas Bonus taxation working correctly?  How did you set it up?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Hi Carlos,

With note 2211234, some problems are fixed(the printing issue has been fixed) and some are not. Would you pls. advise what I missed in No. 2 & 3?

1. 'Infotype 0171 could not be read for person [PERNR] on 20150801'

I'm still getting this message, but I was told that 'the minimum required for a full time employee to be

included in the ACA reporting is a period of 3 months'. I should do further testing to see how a new hired is maintained. Somehow, time evaluation was already run up to Dec for this employee and he's included in the report. However, the description is a little misleading. Would it be possible to make it more specific?

2. In Feature UBAIC, how does the value 'EXC' work?

What I understood was EEs falls in this category were not included in the report, however, one EE group I assigned 'EXC' were all displayed.

3. In Line 14, I'm getting '1H' for every employee.

I must've configured incorrectly somewhere, but can't figure out where. I didn't configure UBAEO and WE/ME/MV were assigned in Health Plan. (I've left an Option blank for one of plans)

Thank you.

Euna

Hi Carlos,

Thank you for the reply. Here's my response to your questions.

1.  For the terminated employees, do you have a termination record in Actions infotype (0000)?
If so, can you confirm that employment status is not active?  We have a termination record in Actions infotype (0000) with employment status withdrawn.

2.   Did you configure ACA Individual Classification feature (UBAIC) to classify the
employee as a non-employee (NNE) when he or she is terminated?  Yes.

UBAIC - MASSN Action Type - S6 Employee Termination - NNE

  3.   For the period that the employee is terminated, what is his or her status in the Check Results and Set Data for Submission to IRS transaction (HRBENUS_ACA_EVAL)?  We have two
situations.

a.  Terminated employees in the reporting year.

If the employee was enrolled in an active employee medical plan in the reporting year then terminates and goes on COBRA.  They have an FTE, PTE etc status
for the months active in medical.  They have a NEN for the months terminated and on COBRA coverage for dental and vision.  That is correct.  And a 1095-C should print because they had
active eligible coverage a portion of the year. The problem is the Line 14 code is 1A Coverage offered all 12 months which is incorrect because coverage was only offered when they were active.  Line 16 looks correct, with a 2C for the month enrolled in active medical coverage and a 2A for the months terminated.  Employees that never had active coverage in the reporting year and on COBRA dental and/or vision have a status of NEN all 12 months and are not printing a
1095-C which is also correct.

b.  Dependents electing COBRA Coverage Independently regardless of reporting year.

If a dependent elects COBRA dental and/or vision independently,
in other words not under the employee’s COBRA, a 1095-C is printing.  This is incorrect. Even if they were not enrolled in an active medical plan a portion of the reporting year.  They have a status of NEE for the months enrolled in COBRA dental and/or vision.  And NEN for the months not enrolled.  Line 14 has a 1H No offer of coverage for the months enrolled in COBRA
dental and/or vision.  And Line 16 is 2A not employed during the month.

Hi Euna,

About the first issue: can you provide further details: did you create infotype 171 for this employee in December? Do you have the message and a form is generated being generated to the employee or not?

About second issue: Exclude employees are indeed excluded from further ACA processing. At this moment, we only have these employees being displayed in the log, but we are planning to remove this information in the next update to be released by week of November 23th (SAP Note 2211235 - BEN: Affordable Care Act (ACA) - 3rd SAP ACA Update)

About the third issue: per your explanation, it should work fine. Have you checked if the employees that you are testing have offer in the Benefits Enrollment Workbench transaction (HRBEN0001)?

Regards,

Carlos

Hi Andrew,

Configureation of this table looks good. Do you have this issue only for dependents or for the employee as well? Also, can you confirm that you employee and dependents enrolled in the Health Plans infotype (167)?

Carlos

Hi Carlos;

The employee shows up, but none of the employees, for example:

The 1095C displays like this:

The IT0167 has the dependents selected:

And IT0021 is like this:

And this is the same for everyone with dependents that we have in our test group.  The only people with dependents displaying are those with COBRA records IT0211/IT0212.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hello Carlos,

Thank you for your response and the information. I was trying this in the sandbox system and wanted to make sure we didn't come across any issues before we apply in the test client.

While I have asked my BASIS team to apply the notes in the order you provided I observed something in the code level. The definition for table type HRBENUS_T_T77BENUS_ASPCC is missing in the SAP Data Dictionary (Class: CL_HRBENUS_T77BENUS_ASPCC). I am hoping by applying the notes in the order you provided the missing type will be updated. Any observation/comments?

Thanks

Hi Cynthia,

We're concerned about providing an employee copy of 1095-C too. Hopefully the November note will include all pages as delivered by the IRS.  For 1095-C, page 2 is instructions to the recipient (defining what all these codes mean) and page 3 is a continuation sheet of covered individuals if needed.  If SAP doesn't deliver page 2, that will be another page to worry about as employees need to be able to interpret the form they receive.

More to come.

Thanks for your post.

Hi Carlos,

If I'm understanding the code correctly, Collect Data for Employees determines address and personal data based on most current in reporting period.  This creates a problem when we're generating the forms in January of the following year (outside reporting period).  For example, if an employee makes an address change 1/10/2016 and we run calendar year 2015 ACA Reporting 1/15/2016 the address change will not be picked up in the reports.  It seems as if the code should look at the valid address/personal data based on RunID date and not reporting period.

Thanks.

Vanessa

Hi Calros

About the first issue: can you provide further details: did you create infotype 171 for this employee in December? Do you have the message and a form is generated being generated to the employee or not?

--> I think it's only the matter of a message description in Collect Data for Employees. IT171 was created in Aug. for 08/31/2015-12/31/9999 and the form is generated for the employee.

--> Ok.

About the third issue: per your explanation, it should work fine. Have you checked if the employees that you are testing have offer in the Benefits Enrollment Workbench transaction (HRBEN0001)?

--> I've tested a couple of employee made sure they have offer in the HRBEN0001 and still have '1H'. BTW, our benefit team may make changes in PA30. Would it be a problem?

Thank you.

Euna
